us in the Heavenly realms with every
spiritual blessing in Christ”
· “has blessed” ~ past tense
· READ: 2 Peter 1:3 & James 1:17
· “heavenly realms” are the invisible spiritual realities of our life now Colossians 3 & Ephesians 2:6
· WHY? Ephesians 3:10
· OUR PAST: God chose (verses 4-6)
· OUR PRESENT: Redemption (6-11)
· OUR FUTURE: Inheritance (12-14)
1) FATHER verses 3-4:
He chose us before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight
· Question: Do you have “free will” or does “God choose”
2 Timothy 1:9 & 2 Thessalonians 2:13

has mysteries in His Word ~ to remind us of His greatness

· The only way to understood this, is in the mind of God
WHY is this IMPORTANT?
· KNOW that God chose you KNOW you are of great value
· HOLY: position not practice ~ Colossians 2:10
· BLAMELESS: practice should match your position before God
2) FATHER verse 5: He adopted us as sons through His son Jesus
· RESULT of God choosing you
· John 14:1-4 ~ access to Father
NEXT WEEK:
3) JESUS verse 6-7: We have redemption and forgiveness
4) JESUS verses 8-9: He made known the mystery of His wisdom
5) JESUS verse 11-12: We were chosen to be living examples to bring praise and
glory to God
6) JESUS verse 13: We heard the….gospel of salvation
7) HOLY SPIRIT verse 13b-14: We were marked in Him with a seal,
the promised Holy Spirit
